Country music legend Merle Haggard did own a home just up the road from this picturesque piece of California landscape.

Chet Foss was the head professional from the time the course was opened. Currently, the Foss family is still running the place with Jim Foss PGA Pro at the helm. Jim, the youngest Son of Chet, is a great teacher and student of the game.
